Skara 1049 years later

We are proud and happy to invite you, our fellow tablers, to the beautiful little town of Skara. Skara is the oldest town in Sweden and arose as an important economic and religious centre in the late 9th century. The medieval history is still present in the streets and architecture, dominated by the famous 12th century Sankt Mary cathedral. Surrounded by beautiful meadows and a rich agricultural landscape in the heart of Sweden you will experience our little town at the start of the flower season in middle of May. We were very fortunate to visit Euromeeting 2017 in Nord Osternpolder and experience the dutch hospitality and, we the members of Skara Round Table, will strive to make your stay here as nice as it possibly gets. Skara is located 1,5 h drive from Göteborg and the Landvetter airport.

Friday 11/5:

13:15                          Transportation from Clarion Hotel Post – Gothenburg,  (for the Germans and Italians)

14:00                         Transportation from Landvetter – Gothenburg Airport (GOT)

14:30 – 16:30          The registration place is changed to the ”mayor´s villa”, at address S:ta Annagatan 6, 532 22 Skara.  Please note!  Not at Jula hotel as previously announced.

18:30                          Friday night party!

00.30-                       After party/ Go to bed

Saturday 12/5:

9:00-10:30            Breakfast at/with hosts

11.00-15.00           Day program in Skara town  

13.30-15.00          Chairman meeting 

13.30                        Lunch made of typically Swedish food

15.00-17.00          Relax with hosts

19:00                        Black Tie dinner

24.00-                      After party/ Go to bed

Sunday 13/5:

08:00 – 10:30     Breakfast/brunch and farewells at Jula hotel/ Best Western

09:00                     Transport to  Landvetter – Gothenburg Airport (GOT) for the Netherlands  (Agnes Galema, Michel Becker, Anne Marijn van Groningen and Krijn van Groningen).
